About the RSCDS Portland Oregon Branch
We are passionate Scottish Country Dancers!
Located in Portland, Oregon, we teach and dance the social dances of Scotland and promote interaction and friendship with nearby RSCDS branches. DANCING Is Back!!!! Dancing has resumed effective Monday, September 11th, 2023. Subsequent nights will have fundamentals taught in the first half of the class, and the second half will focus on intermediate and advance skills. The beginning dancers are welcome to stay and watch the second half. Workshop & BallEach year, the Portland Branch brings a nationally recognized teacher for a one day workshop, followed by a Ball with fabulous live music. Mark your calendars for March 9, 2024 with the teacher Linda Henderson and music by Gary Thomas (keyboards), Lisa Doyle (Fiddle) and Carol Vines (Cello).
